2008

Summer 2008 - Busy, busy! This summer, has been full of motion graphics projects. I produced a series of earth animations for Big Puddle Films of Spokane, Washington and Josh McDowell Ministries in June and July. Additionally, I animated tags on six Western Kentucky University football spots for Lil Dragon Entertainment, for regional broadcast. Also, I edited an EPK for Trey Hensley, a few opening modules for corporate events, and several awards videos for projects produced by several companies including The Gary Musick Company of Nashville, TN.

Spring 2008 - Great news! The independent feature The Human Trace, directed by Jason Satterlund and for which I created visual effects, just received the Best Feature Film Award from the Cedar Rapids Film Festival. Congratulations Jason! I recently completed an animated football effect for Lil Dragon Entertainment and the Western Kentucky University 2008 Football Season. Earlier this Spring, we completed more than twenty short-form videos for The Gary Musick Company of Nashville, TN. Additionally, I've had a few out-of-town shoots and management positions at conferences around the country... Busy, busy! More to come!

Winter 2008 - So far this winter has been very busy. I have just completed an animation for the Spokane Shock Arena Football Team in Spokane, WA... a short montage video for Cornell Media Group and FleetPride... Earlier in the season, I rotoscoped a shot of a man's head for D&d Productions of Nashville (soon to relocate to Israel), as well as several short form videos for The Gary Musick Company and a some additional elements for Big Puddle Films...

2007

Fall 2007 - In late September, after returning from the Hilton Garden Inn conferences in Beverly Hills for Heartbeat Productions and Alan Reitano. I completed two high-definition segments for High Five Entertainment. Following that, I worked for the Gary Musick Company traveling, producing and editing several video segments for a corporate conference.

In October, Gabe McCauley asked me to edit a high-definition short. Additionally, I shot a few projects for Eric Cornell and Cornell Media Group, and worked on a DVD project for Vanderbilt University.

In November, I edited a few EPK projects, an original video for the Y-CAP/YMCA, continued post work on several projects for the Gary Musick Company and then traveled to Bermuda for a corporate conference.

Later, in December, I worked on compositing for a MixMasterMandy music video for Gabe McCauley. The new video became a part of the promotional material for Mandy's New York Tour in December and is getting a positive response.

Last, but certainly not least, the official website and store for The Baby Ivy League Company is now online and ready for business! I was involved in producing much of the video and DVD, so it is a project of which I am very proud.

Summer 2007 - In July, I was invited to be a part of the Lil' Dragon Entertainment Team for the 2007 Nashville 48 Hour Film Project. Our film - Power Ballad: A Holiday Tale won the Best In Genre award for Holiday Film.

In addition, I have been producing an animated effect and title for Jason Satterlund's book trailer for The Witness, a new novel by Josh McDowell.

In August, I shot 1080i high-definition footage for Hilton Garden Inn, in preparation for their September GM / DOS conferences in Beverly Hills. The shoot featured four actors plus members of the Hilton Garden Inn staff and was directed by Alan Reitano. Rounding out the crew were: Eric Cornell, Randy Moore and Luke Tipton. Later, in September, I traveled to Beverly Hills with Alan to assist with the conference, produced by Heartbeat Productions of Memphis. During the conference I was invited to attend a red-carpet event for HGI at Paramount Pictures Studios on Melrose Avenue. That was fun.

Also during September, I have edited a couple of EPKs; worked on completing two High-Def segments for High Five Entertainment as well as other corporate video projects.

Spring 2007 - This spring, I was priviledged to be involved in a shoot in Nashville with Ashley Judd for her forthcoming clothing line. When the retailer officially announces the line, I will post a clip or two from the shoot.

Also, I produced four visual-effects shots for Jason Satterlund's feature: The Human Trace (Big Puddle Films) . I thoroughly enjoyed watching the completed production at the first screening May 20th at the Providence Cinemas in Mt. Juliet, TN. The largest auditorium was filled nearly to capacity! Jason did a great job and proved himself to be a fine director.

I have been working on completing an online presence for The Baby Ivy League Company and, this Spring, I edited several corporate projects for the Gary Musick Company and other clients.

Winter 2007 - This winter, I've been working on a few personal projects as well as several corporate productions. I worked with Adweek and Mediaweek in Las Vegas for Big Puddle Films and The Patterson Communications Group.

I also worked with Eric Cornell and Cornell Media Group during the Ingram Entertainment event in Nashville. Several corporate videos and graphic projects for the Gary Musick Company and a DVD project for Vanderbilt Uninersity School of Nursing rounded out the season.

2006

Fall 2006 - This fall, I produced a fund raising video for the YMCA Community Action Project (Y-CAP) of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. You can view it here.

I also spent a few days in Orlando for ANA/Brandweek editing video segments for Big Puddle Films and The Patterson Communications Group.

Shortly after that, I worked again for Big Puddle Films on a video for MediaComplete and MediaShout and edited several corporate videos for the Gary Musick Company. It was a very busy Fall!

Summer 2006 - Besides several corporate projects, I recently formed a team for the Nashville edition of the 48 Hour Film Project. The Nashville 48 Hour Film Project is an annual event in which several teams compete against the clock to produce (and actually complete!) a short film/video in under 48 hours. Our team included Alan Reitano, Clay Sturgeon, Steven Allen and Jimmy Self, among others.

Update: Our team won the award for Best Silent Film for: "Campaign Stickers"! Watch an excerpt from our strange creation here.

Spring 2006 - This spring, I'm completing a few corporate projects, upgrading nearly all my software and hardware and spending some much needed time with the family!

The spring of 2006 has been very busy with corporate projects in several states. I worked with Alan Reitano and Hilton Garden Inn, for Heartbeat Productions, of Memphis, and also with Eric Cornell and Cornell Media Group during the Ingram Entertainment event in Atlanta, Georgia.

Winter 2006 - This past winter, most of my time has been devoted to the creation and installation of virtual scenery for The Miracle, an inspirational Christian musical to be performed in the Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. The Miracle Theater web-site features scenes from the production - including glimpses of the huge scenery backdrops that we produced. The Gary Musick Company and Alan Reitano of Cypress Creek Creative are heading up the project.

2005

Fall 2005 - After completing the DVD Baby Ivy League: A Well-Rounded Beginning for the Baby Ivy League company and several corporate projects, I was involved in the installation of a new musical production Thoroughly Broadway for the Gary Musick Company aboard the Celebrity Cruises - Summit. While the cast and crew rehearsed, the Summit made its way down the west coast of Central America, through the Panama Canal, and across the north coast of South America. Stops along the way included: Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Costa Rica, Huatulco, Panama, and Aruba. All told, there are far worse ways to make a living. Thoroughly Broadway opened to standing ovations and was awarded the highest ratings in the cruise industry. I was pleased to be a part of it.

Summer 2005 - It was a very busy summer. The Baby Ivy League project for Shannon Gould and her Baby Ivy League Company progressed into a first-class DVD product. Additionally, educational and corporate clients kept me steadily shooting and editing my way across the country.
